The "Inn" is a county-wide, shelter for homeless individuals. Whether they are temporarily homeless or have fallen on hard times through job loss. The guests of the Inn receive food, shelter and basic necessities. It is staffed by both paid and volunteer staffs that are trained to recognize and offer specific types of assistance to help get the guests back on track.
The Inn is open to receiving donations of quick, easy to prepare foods (microwavable items, hot chocolate, teas & coffee and canned goods) which are always welcome. In addition to these items personal sized soaps, toothpaste, shampoo and Kleenex are also always needed. Donations can be dropped off at the church office during office hours or after 7 p.m. by using the "Inn door" at the back of the hall. (just follow the sidewalk around to the door, the light is on.)
THE INN OF OXFORD (formerly Inn Out of the Cold) located here at Old St. Paul's is NOW OPEN ALL YEAR thanks to the County of Oxford increasing their support in order to hire full time staff. This wonderful help in no way covers all our needs. Your support of goods, funds, volunteering will be greatly appreciated.
